Trip to Hangzhou (Day 2)

This is the second day of our 2-day trip to Hangzhou. We went to the Lingyin Temple otherwise known as the "Temple of the Soul's Retreat." It's in the Wulin mountains, and has layers of pagodas. So after you climb a bit, you get to enjoy a temple, then you climb some more etc... My favorite was the The Hall of Five Hundred Arhats. I didn't get any pictures of it, but it was awesome. It consisted of a giant maze full of 500 life-sized statues of Arhats. Ramsey and I had great fun looking at all the different intricacies of each Arhat. They held symbolic items. My favorite was the arhat that had eyebrows that reached the floor symbolizing his great wisdom.

Donghua University students (the boys) oh and Ramsey.
