This year's theme for Young Women's is "Be Strong and of a Good Courage." I was in charge of New Beginnings so I started brainstorming about what I could do and I thought about lions and how they are thought of as having courage. Then I feminized it by having the girls be lionesses in the "worldly" jungle. I decorated the room with jungle decorations: lots of plants, pink zebra and cheetah print bows for the back of the chairs, vines hanging from the ceiling, animal print journals, pencils, napkins. I went a little crazy. I have to give a shout out to my friend Lu for helping me with this event because without her help, I wouldn't have found all the jungle things I needed.
